Barbara Luna performing at Tangofest 2009!!

I am very happy to inform you that we have a very special guest artist who will be joining us in the Welcome Milonga. Having captivated audiences with her passionate music at Womadelaide in 2001, Barbara Luna returns to Australia with her Amanece Tour celebrating the release of her new album Ruta Tres. Between salsa and tango, Barbara Luna keeps on creating an elegant melting pot of Argentine traditions and jazz folk music. She will be touring Australia with her band performing in different theatres around Australia and has very graciously agreed to perform at our Welcome Milonga on 3 June 2009.

Good news for those loyal supporters of the Festival who missed out on the Early Bird Rates!!!

If you missed out on the Early Bird Rates and you have attended the workshops in 3 out of the past 4 Festivals, you can have a 5% discount on the prevailing Workshop package costs after the 15th of April. But you have to act fast as this is only available until the 15th of May. This discount is only applicable to the Workshop Packages only. Send in your registrations before you miss out on your favoured workshops. (Please indicate that you wish to take advantage of this offer when you email your registration back to us.)
