Tango champions Cristina and Daniel have taken the tango world by storm.

In 2008, they won four world titles: World Tango Championship (Tango Salon), Metropolitan Tango Championship (Tango Salon), Metropolitan Tango Championship (Milonga) and the Japan Open (Tango Salon). They are the first tango dancing couple to win all these world competitions in one year. What a record!

Cristina started dancing at the age of 9. At 18, she discovered a passion for tango. She became a dancer and choreographic assistant in the show “Piazolla Tango”. She has performed in various tango shows.

Daniel is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer of tango. At the age of 16, he started working with the notable proponents of the Villa Urquiza style of the 21st century. He has worked in numerous countries including Japan, Taiwan and the USA as the main dancer in numerous shows.

Laila and Leandro Oliver

Laila and Leandro Oliver, principal dancers of the world acclaimed show Tango x 2: Una Noche de Tango with Miguel Zotto as the Artistic Director.

Laila and Leandro have been very busy travelling the globe. This couple have been the principal dancers in several sell out shows in Europe, USA, Buenos Aires and Asia that have been running for a long period and received great reviews. Laila and Leandro deliver electrifying performances which leaves you asking for more. The fluidity and passion in their dance will leave a lasting impression.

Belen Silva and Diego Gonzalez

Belen Silva and Diego Gonzalez

Belen Silva is a multi-talented, multi-lingual artist. Not only is she a qualified teacher but also plays different musical instruments and trained in different dances. She underwent training with the most outstanding teachers in the different styles of tango, both as a leader and a follower. Belen uses a complete holistic approach to her teaching incorporating body conditioning, musicality, freedom of movement, breathing, and relaxation. Using this technique has made her a well admired teacher of all age groups.

Like Belen, Diego Gonzalez trained with several well-known Tango teachers. Diego has performed in several Tango shows and also taught at the Escuela de Tango Argentino. Diego holds a teaching degree in Argentine Folkloric Dances. He is often travelling the world performing and teaching tango. Diego is also a Figure Ice Skater and was a regular cast of a popular Argentine TV show. He is now working on his Master’s Degree in Biochemistry at the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
