Pre-Festival Course and Special Workshops 2010

Lifestyle Studio, Surry Hills NSW - February 22 to March 20 2010

TangoFest is offering an intensive Pre-Festival Tango Course for the first time. It will be a 4-week term and is designed for tango dancers of all levels. The course will be conducted by Belen Silva, who, together with Diego Gonzalez, will also be teaching & performing in TangoFest 2010.

By the end of the course, participants will have a better understanding of the structure of tango in coordination with the music and ultimately feel the true essence of the fluidity in the dance. Having achieved this, the participants can confidently attend the different class levels in TangoFest 2010 workshops and get much more satisfaction and fulfilment.

This Pre-Festival Tango course is made up of eight 1 ½ hour classes and 3 Saturdays of intensive guided practicas of 2 hours each. After the practica, students can still keep on practicing and dancing for another hour. The venue will be the expansive floor of the Lifestyle Studio, 4th Floor, 16 Foster Street, Surry Hills which is very close to the city.

Come and join us in this Pre-Festival Tango Course. For a total of 18 hours of lessons and properly guided practicas plus 3 hours of more practice and dancing. You only pay AUD$285 if you register and pay by 12 February 2010, or AUD$300 after the 12th of February. If you register as a couple (Leader and Follower) the discounted price of $ 550 before or $ 570 after the 12th of February applies.
