9 March 2009Geraldin and Ezequiel at TangoFest 2009! Geraldin Rojas and Ezequiel Paludi will be at the festival. The topics they will cover in their workshops will include Techniques II: axis, posture, recognition of articulations (knees, shoulders and ankles) ideal to make adornments for men and ladies! They will also cover topics on how to dance, achieve effects and illusions, and much more. This would be a great opportunity to hear and learn from a world class couple admired everywhere they go. I am so excited as we will soon have other world class teachers and workshops being announced soon!!! Joaquin Amenabar will be back!! For those who missed Joaquin Amenabar’s classes last year, he is coming back. And this time, he is also teaching Understanding the Rhythm in Milonga and Vals. Everyone who who loves Piazzolla music, Joaquin will guide us in understanding and dancing to the different rhythms. Joaquin's participation in TangoFest doesn’t end in the classroom, he will play again with his local band in our Grand Milonga. Yay! We have two milongueros who will DJ in some of the Milongas. If anyone wants to DJ or offer their services during the festival, please send me an email. I would like to include the photos of our DJs in our new look website (coming soon).
