TangoFest 2010 - Almost here!!

Dear Tango Friends,

The Mudgee Department of Tourism has organized a Tango Online Competition and is open to everyone.  Why not try your luck and join the fun and you might become the lucky winner of this package worth more than $ 700.  Go to their website on www.visitmudgeeregion.com.au and complete the details.

The Festival Timetable and Registration details are out now.  Have a look at all the free workshops and very much discounted Workshop and Milonga Packages on offer.  But please act soon as the Early Bird Rates are only available up to the end of this month.  Registrations together with the payments must be received by the 28th of February to take advantage of these low rates.

Great prizes await the winners in the Tango Competition that will be held on Monday, 29 March at the Mudgee Club.  All cash collected as entry fees from the competitors will be doubled and given back as Cash Prizes to a maximum of $ 500.  There will also be a free private lesson with one of the Festival’s guest Argentine Tango teachers.  And it does not stop there as Workshops and Milonga Packages will also form part of the prizes available.  Each contestant will bring home a Mudgee bottle of wine too.  Make this a memorable tango holiday for you by coming along and joining the fun.  And don’t forget to book your accommodations as Mudgee is a very popular holiday destination.

Although Mudgee is only 3 ½ hours drive from Sydney, those who would like to be spared the driving and would like to share in the mini bus, kindly send me an email.

And for those who would like to make the most of the TangoFest 2010 workshops, I invite you to consider taking the intensive Pre-Festival Tango Course that will start on Monday, 22nd of February.  Participants in this course will be entitled to the Early Bird rates even after the deadline as an added benefit.
